　1.【误】 He studied hard at his lessons and as a result of he succeeded at last.

　　【正】 He studied hard at his lessons and as a result he succeeded at last.

　　【析】 as a result表示“结果是”，后面跟句子;as a result of后面只能跟名词或代词。

 2. 【误】 It was two years since we last saw each other.

　　【正】 It has been two years since we last saw each other.

　　【析】 现在完成时句子有两个明显的特征，那就是后面的时间状语可用“since+点时间”或者“for+段时间”。根据since后面的句子中的谓语动词用一般过去时可知主句应用现在完成时。

 3. 【误】 This is the first time I visit your school.

　　【正】 This is the first time I have visited your school.

　　【析】 在it / this is the first / second... time...句子结构中，后面的句子应该用现在完成时。

 4. 【误】 This is one of the most expensive car in the world.

　　【正】 This is one of the most expensive cars in the world.

　　【析】 one of后面接名词时，名词应用复数形式。

 5. 【误】 I never used to spending time in walking around the city.

　　【正】 I never used to spend time in walking around the city.

　　【析】 used to表示“过去常常……”，to后面接动词原形;be used to表示“习惯于……”，后面接V-ing形式。

 6. 【误】 Lu Xun was well known for a writer and was famous as his great works.

　　【正】 Lu Xun was well known as a writer and was famous for his great works.
