Step 2:Warming up 1、Lead ss to do the survey on their textbook,help them to add up the score and guide ss to make friends in a correct way. step 3:Reading Let ss look through the passage quickly and silently, and then ask them for the main idea of this text in one sentence or in their own words. It is a story mainly about Anne and her best friend , her diary. Get ss to read the passage carefully and complete the exercise on pageB1 of student times. Part1:The brief introduction about Anne and her best friend , her diary. Para1:Why did Anne made her diary her besr friend? Para2:A brief introduction about Anne and her friend , diary. Part2:One copy of Anne's diary . It shows Anne's desire to live a normal life. Para1:Anne especially missed going outside and enjoying nature. Pare2:An example shows how Anne wished to go outside and enjoy nature. Step4:Language points Ask ss to find some useful phrases and long difficult sentences by themselves . And later teacher can questions ss by translating English into Chinese or Chinese into English.
