    教学内容:小学英语(EEC版)五年上册第1单元Where are you from?(第三课时。)
    教学目标:
    1. The knowlege and skills
    Enable the students to understand and grasp the words: America,the USA,Canada,Australia,China,American.
    Enable the students to ask and answer the questions : Where are you from? I’m from... Are youan American? Are you from...?
    2.Process and methods
    To use cooperatively learing method.
    Using the computer to help the education progress.To design some colorful situation for the pupils to develop the pupils ability of using English.
    3.Emotion and attitude
    To educate the pupils cooperation ability.
    Encourage the pupils to have good cooperation with each other ,help each other .
    To teach the pupils to love our country.
    教学重点:
    Word:America ,the USA,Canada,Australia,China, American
    Sentence:Where are you from? I’m from...Are you from...?
    教学难点:Apply the sentence stucture to the real situation.
    教具准备:教学课件、卡片、地图、国旗。
    教学过程:
    一、Warm up
    1.Exchange greetings
    2.Sing an English song
     T:Are you happy ? If you are happy what youwant to do ?
    S:I want to draw a picture.
    S:I want to dance.
    S:I want to play computer games.
    S:I want to sing a song.
    T:Let’s sing a song.The name of the song is 《If You’re Happy》.
    (评析:日常用语的运用增进了师生间的情感交流。节奏明快的歌曲营造了愉快的气氛,增强了学生英语表达的节奏感、语感,使学生迅速地进入英语学习的良好状态。)
    二、Review and Lead in
    T:I’m glad to see you are here.May I ask your name?
    What’s your name?
    S:My name is Liu Ming.
    T:Is Liu your first name?
    S:My first name is Ming.
    T:Now ,I know your name.I have several friends from other country.Do you know their names?

    T:Do youknow where he is from?

    三、Presentation
    1. To teach the names of countries:America ,the USA,Canada,Australia,China
    T:There are many countries in the word. Let’s learn how to say their names.

    T:It is a wonderful country.Do you know the name of this country?
    S:America.
    T:Yes, let me tell you how to say .It’s America in English.
    S:America.
    T:America. You may say "the USA",too.

    T:Do you know what they are?
    S:They’re kangaroos.

    (评析:新授词汇的教学不是简单的机械教学而是通过多媒体展示4个国家的标志性建筑物、特有动物、风景名胜,并配以优美的音乐完成,不仅使学生牢牢地掌握所学的单词,而且给学生视觉、听觉上的享受,同时也开阔了学生的视野,积累了有关异国文化知识和培养了学生的跨文化意识,增强了学生的民族自豪感。)
    (Show the maps of four countries and stick on the blackboard)
    T:Good job ,let’s play a game ,choose correct flags and stick on these maps ,then write the words onthe maps and say the names of the countries.Please choose three students each group and finishthem.

    T:Who can ask a question like me ?

    T:I have many photos in my hand. Please choose one ,then ask and answer so that let us know their names and nationality.(展示刘翔、爱迪生、唐老鸭、袋鼠先生,孙悟空等的照片。)
    S:What’s your name?
    S:My name’s Liu Xiang.
    S:Where are you from?
    S:I’m from China.
    S:Where are you from?
    S:I’m from Australia.
    (评析:利用学生喜欢的卡通形象、体育明星及科学家的图片来操练所学的句型,不仅把枯燥的句型操练变得生动有趣,还激发了学生的学习兴趣,活跃了课堂气氛。)
    3.To learn the new drills: Are you anAmerican? Are you from...?
    (多媒体展示乔丹的照片。)
    T:Look at this .Who’s this ?
    S:乔丹。
    T:You are right.He is a famous basketball player .He is good at playing basketball.He is from America.He is anAmerican.What does the word “American” mean?
    S:美国人。
    T:American.

    T:Are you an American?
    S:No,I’m not.I’m from China.
    (Devide the students into four groups.)
    T:I’ll hand out the flags “America ,Canada,Australia,China” to you. Using these sentences “Are you an American? Are you from...?” do a survey. Then tell us how many students there are from China/Canada/Australia/the USA.

    四、Consolidation
    1.To sing a song
    T:I think you are tired,now let’s learn a song. The name of the song is <>.
    (评析:根据教学内容创编学生熟悉的曲子,一方面进一步巩固了所学的知识,另一方面使英语课堂增添了艺术特色。)
    2. Make up a dialogue
    (把学生分成3组,多媒体展示两名记者打算去采访4位体育明星的对话场景。)

    总评:
    本课的教学充分体现了小学英语的教学思想:以学生为主体,充分调动了学生的主动性,师生民主合作共同学习,使学生在轻松和谐的氛围中掌握英语知识,培养了学生的创造力,提高了学生的综合素质。主要体现在以下3方面:
    1. 坚持英语教学的实践性原则。
    英语综合运用能力是在语言实践中培养起来的,所以英语课程必须坚持实践性原则。本节课的语言知识的学习立足于语言实践活动,教者设计了调查采访、游戏、竞赛、歌曲等多种教学活动,课堂上的大部分活动以语言实践为基础,杜绝了单纯传授讲语言的做法。
    2. 在教学中能够渗透情感教育。
    英语课程的目的不仅仅是培养学生的语言能力,思维能力、想象能力和创新能力,而且还要有渗透情感教育,教者结合本节教学内容展示了中国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚的标志性建筑、特有动物等资料,开拓了学生的视野,提高了学生学习英语和外国文化的兴趣,并增强了学生的民族自豪感。
    3. 运用多种教学手段提高教学效率。
    教师采用了图片、多媒体、游戏、地图、国旗等多种辅助教学手段,使教学变得直观、生动有趣。尤其是多媒体的运用使教学更加形象、明了、快捷、方便。使学生在学习过程中始终兴趣浓厚、情绪饱满,大大提高了教学效率。
    反思:
    1.创设情境,培养学生语言交际能力
    在“学习生活化,活动生活化”的教学理念倡导下,课堂教学以“活动”这条线贯穿始终,设计活动贴近学生,贴近生活,贴近实际。我采用了多种教学手段创设生动活泼、声情并茂的情境,激发了学生主动参与课堂活动,投入到语言活动中去,发挥了学生主体作用,培养了学生语言交际能力。
    2.注重过程评价,引入竞争机制
    在教学中对学生参与的态度进行鼓励性评价,以保护和提高学生主动参与教学的积极性,做到不只关注教学效果,同时也关注教学过程,使对学习过程和对学习结果的评价达到和谐统一,并在教学中引入竞争机制。在整个教学中我对表现好的学生和小组进行奖励,这样在多层次的竞赛中就形成了多角度的评价活动,从而激发了学生的学习积极性。
